Founder and CEO of HOPE UNLIMITED is nationally known speaker, Hal Williamson. Hal, a mechanical engineer, intellectual property attorney and MBA, worked as a patent attorney in the corporate world for 38 years. Working as the Director of Patents for Sundstrand Corporation, Hal discovered that the company could increase patents obtained if he taught engineers how to discover invention in their own work. He designed and taught classes and Sundstrand moved from being the 874th to the 20th U.S. company in the country in the number of patents obtained each year.

Hal's fascination with the brain and how it works to invent lead to extensive research. The result was the Pathway to Greatness Program. When Harry Stonecipher, then CEO of Sundstrand, experienced this remarkable course himself, he invited Hal to stop his legal practice and train within the company full time. Hal did this for several years before forming his own company, HOPE UNLIMITED, in 1995.

Hal is certified by Herrmann International to use and interpret the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument.

Peter Senge's work on the Learning Organization galvanized Hal's interest in the ways organizations think, which led to the curricula on Systems Thinking and The Five Disciplines.

In 1996, Sharon Eakes joined HOPE UNLIMITED as a trainer and executive coach. Sharon has a background in psychology and management, with an MA in psychology. For 25 years she worked at Gateway Rehabilitation Center in western Pennsylvania, where she was the Vice President of Treatment Programs. She helped grow the company from a single site to 10 sites with multiple treatment options.

Sharon has published articles on management and leadership, and appeared on radio and TV. She is certified by Herrmann International to interpret Herrmann Brain Dominance Instruments. Sharon is affiliated with Coach University, the premier training program for coaches, and is a member of the International Coach's Federation.
